RATING: Great Movie.
REVIEW:My first major expulsion to this movie was during a trailer for one of the many SAW DVD release. After hearing the announcer say: "And pick up Repo! The Genetic Opera.", I was just craving for more information on this film. That is when I was exposed to ZYDRATE ANATOMY, the first song form this movie I have ever heard. And, immediately, I was addicted (to the knife!). Then, for the past few weeks, all I done was learn the songs by heart and do more studding on this film. Sense my mother is not a fan of the saw films, and this film was created by LIONS GATE, the same people that made the SAW films, I was not allowed to get it on DVD, but I did watch it on demand and made a VHS copy of the film, and all I have to say is that this is a movie unlike any other.

Now, for the actors and actresses. First is Alexa Vega. When I last saw her, she was playing in the movie SPY KIDS. I did not know that she would be in a musical, so when I found out, I was pleasantly shocked. She done a good job in this movie, playing a girl that wants to be free, allowed to explore the world. In the movie, the song Infected, you can really tell in her voice that she wants to be free, but can't because of her father and the fact that she has a blood disease.

Next is Anthony Head, if you watch Buffy, then you should know who he is. His character, Nathan, is a very emotional and complex character. To Shilo, he is a doctor that is trying to cure her, but when he alone, he reviles himself to be the Repo Man. Head does a very powerful job playing both rolls (Nathan and Repo Man), for example, when he is Nathan, he is sounds and acts very depressed over his wife's death. But when he is Repo, his voice becomes dark, grudge like. He walks very heavily, and acts very ruthless. There is still some good left in Nathan, mostly when he refuses to take out Blind Mag's eyes.

Paul Sorvino is only one of two trained opera singers in this movie, he does a fantastic job. Now, you may know him from Romeo + Juliet (Played Romeo's father) and the new Zaxby's commercials. In the movie, he plays the main villain named Rotti Largo, the man that created GENco. His portrayal in this movie is very well executed. He acts the part very well, you here all of the emotion in his voice and, just, he makes a very good bad guy.

For Sarah Brightman's first movie, I am blown away. Her portrayal of Blind Mag not only enhanced the characters, but also gave a striking Oscar Winning performance. Which, by the way, that is one thing that gets me pissed off. The fact that she was not nominated for an Oscar.

Terrance Zdunich is the creator of the original stage play that inspired this movie. He is the only person from the original play to make an appearance in this movie. His character is mostly just a narrator for this movie. But he does with such a force that makes him one of the most loved players in this movie.

Bill Mosley is a new comer to the silver screen, and his temper is as destructive as Gojira's. his character is the oldest son of the GENco family, and he does act like a head male figure in this movie. But his attitude is to terrible. for example, during the song Mark It Up, a gentern accidentally runs into him and fr no apparent reason, he stabs her to death. And then again to his assistant that brought him the wrong cup of coffee.

Nivek Ogre, or as the credits call him Ogre, is the lead singer from a band named Skinny Puppy. His character, named Pavi, is one of the strangest you will ever meet. For starters, you never see his face. He is always wearing the face of a women he had killed, just for the face. He is always debated against Bill Mosley as to who is known as being the most sexy among the fans. And usually, he wins. As he says in the movie, "10 out of 9 they will say the Pavi!"

And lastly, Paris Hilton. Yes, the actress that is worse then the director Ed Wood is in this movie. And for once, her character suits her. Why? Because her Character Amber Sweet, is a spoiled brat that gets everything in the world. And she behaves the exact same way. So, in a way, she never actually acts in this movie.

Over all, this is a fantastic movie and should have won some awards for its music.
