Lauren Magness' Max - REVIEW

Wow. That is all I can really say. Wow. The first thing I noticed about her was the fact that she could actually produce emotion into the character, raise her voice when it is appropriate, and above all, act as if there was someone else with her. What she brings to the table from the other finalists that are trying out for Max is an entire new level. I love it! Now, I have no idea if she has ever had any acting lessons, but she is amazing. Now, what I would like to see her in more videos (possibly with other people) to see how much more she could stretch on her acting. The only real compliant I have with Miss Magness' performance would have to be with the video I Don't Want To Talk About It. When I was watching that one, I was hoping to see her shed a few tears, but for what she did do in that video, she done a damn fine job. The only other thing I would suggest is that she slowd down her speech when she gets angery. Now, I know this is hard to do, but it really does help when you are trying to speak to someone (in this case, the ghosts of the book). So, in terms of seriousness, sassy, and comedic, she hits the target completely. But, I would like to see more sides of her acting. Like, I would like to see more romantic scenes, probably some action scenes, and enteract with some people.

Here are some of her videos:

THE ANGEL EXPERIMENT PROLOUGE

BIRD OR HUMAN

FAIR IS FAIR

I DON'T WANNA TALK ABOUT IT

  1. I agree I love Lauren and she actually has acting experience. playing max for her is more, well as if max were real and everything she does is everyday life. her acting is more natural =)
