The Memoirs Of A Ghost: An Original Non-Lyrical Poem.

The Memoirs Of A Ghost: An Original Non-Lyrical Poem
By: Zach Brehany

Sleep deprived
Hurts all over
The cage arrives
Arrives at hell

The door opens
Enters fear
Enters hell
Enters pure live evil

We are taken out
Like a group of cattle
Women one side,
Men the other

At the front
The head War Pigs
The pure live evil itself
The reaper

Eyes of fire
They stare at us
He commands,
We do, no response

Time passes
People are gone
My family,
My friends,
“why, oh why God
Has thy forsaken me?”

Every day
Every sun
Every moon
Another one bites the dust

Then I see them
The bastard War Pigs
Laughing, as we suffer
The hell’s angels
The bastard demons

Talk erects
Children plan
A rebellion they say?
I take no part
What do I have to live for?

Denying the lying
A million children fighting
For lives, in strife
All hope beyond the horizon

Then I saw it.
The black rain
Came hitting the ground
Inocent children gone.

In the swine bin
I fall to my thin knees
Look to the sky and screamed
“Why, oh why lord
Has thou forsaken me?”
Days pass
Weeks pass
Months pass
I grow weaker
I grow thinner
I become nothing

Then the black day
The day I only know of

The war pigs marched to me
Eyes of fire
Looks at me
“Steh auf, steh auf! Deutsch Schmutz!”

I arise
I walked
They might kill me,
I’m not going away

I see it
The tower of death
The tower of black smoke
The tower of fear

Then I turned and breathed
My last, final words:
“So lange, deutsches Schwein!”

I was thrown
Into the fire
I was screaming, but happy.
I was now in heaven

One thing came to mind:
As long as the war pigs exist
As long as man kind exist
Then it will go on
And on
And on
It’s Heaven And Hell.
